Sercalo's MEMS switches are the solution of choice for fiber optic test and measurement. Extra recalibration of measurement equipment can be avoided by choosing stable components. Sercalo MEMS switches play a critical role in test and measurement because of their superior long term stability. 

Switches are used to multiply the test points and for measurement automation. For example a switch can be used to expand the measurement to several measurement points or a Distributed Temperature Sensor (DTS) can use a Sercalo MEMS switch to measure temperature in several fibers. In a similar way a Fiber Bragg Grating read out system can rely on a Sercalo switch to address the FBGS elements in different fibers. Switches allow also to share several measurement means on the same test station.
