Lidars for autonomous cars require precise and reliable scanning mechanisms. MEMS scanners are an excellent solution that can be scaled to large volume manufacturing. For LIDAR scanning Sercalo proposes a large MEMS mirror that can scan into 2 directions. The operation principle is based on Sercalo's own IP and uses electrodynamic actuators to move the MEMS. The mirror surface can be as large as 7x7 mm with field of view as large as 60° in the resonant axis and 10° in the static axis. Sercalo is actively looking for partners ready to deploy MEMS scanner in products.
